Marsh Prince
Red Lechwe (Kobus leche), also known as the Southern Lechwe or just Lechwe, thrive in the marshes of south central Africa. Their powerful legs are coated with a water-resistant substance, making them tough for predators to catch in the knee-high water. We saw a pack of wild dogs make a run at one of these guys - and the Lechwe left them in the dust.
