Giant Otter (Pteronura brasiliensis) approaches within a few feet of the boat to feed on a small fish. Locals call the Giant Otters the "wolves of the river" due to their voracious appetites, pack hunting style, tight-knit family groups, and impressive weapons, including huge teeth, large webbed paws and excellent underwater vision.
