In late August the Denali Moose (Alces alces) shows off antlers that are full sized, but covered in velvet.  You can see the velvet starting to come off in places on this guy's antlers.  He's feeding in the tall vegetation, but close enough to our position on the road so that his beauty and the details on his antlers are visible.  Denali National Park, Alaska.
