Cold, driving rain didn't stop this Grizzly Bear (Ursus arctos horribilis) from foraging for very long. He was frantically feeding in order to gain fat before hibernation season, and he must have known the vegetation wouldn't last. It snowed the week after we left Denali - probably killed off the berries and grasses this bear was feeding on here. Denali National Park, Alaska.
