Most of the Moose (Alces alces) we saw in Denali were bedded down or feeding in the tall foliage. Thick, dense stuff that made the Moose's legs almost invisible.  It was nice to see this big guy, with a full rack of antlers covered in velvet, moving off into a clearing full of fall color.  Denali National Park, Alaska.
