Coming Ashore
Mother Polar Bear (Ursus maritimus) and her two cubs finish their swim across the bay. Mom chose a channel of relatively open water, between the heavy waves and the more solid ice. At this point they were wading through slush. Looked exhausting, but the cubs were playing around about an hour later while mom napped.
