Ice Crowned King of the Arctic
The King of the Arctic with his crown of snow and ice. On the northeastern coast of Alaska, the Polar Bears (Ursus maritimus) demonstrate their amazing swimming skills. They stroked powerfully through thick ice, swimming for miles between land. One reason they are scientifically classified as "marine mammals."
