This Coastal Brown Bear was making the most of a healthy salmon run. On this morning she caught a half dozen big salmon. Here she closes the distance on a silver salmon (visible just outside her reach). This proved to be the salmon's final moment of life. The bear smacked it with her paws, stunned it, and grabbed it in her powerful jaws.
