Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, just south of Socorro, New Mexico, offers a spectacle of thousands upon thousands of Snow Geese, Sandhill Cranes and other water birds, which migrate down from northern Canada, Alaska and elsewhere in the Arctic to winter here.
