The Black Hills of South Dakota are emblematic of the American West. Rolling hills covered in old-growth forest provide a picturesque background for wild Mustangs, Bison, and Pronghorn. Black-tailed Prairie Dogs, White-tailed Deer, Jackrabbits and Coyotes call the lush grasslands home. The Western Meadowlarks' beautiful call permeates this wild place. Wind Cave National Park is nearby, and is a wonderful place to spot Prairie Dogs and Bison.
