Newborn Bison (Bison bison) calf, about a month old, feeds on grass while its mother keeps a careful watch.  Bison calves are born with cinnamon-colored fur, and are commonly referred to as "Red Dogs" or "Cinnamons" until they lose the reddish coat and grow the brown fur out.
